Video: SFI launch highlights for ULA Delta IV Heavy with NROL-37
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceFlight Insider has covered a vast array of missions – and each is different. However, the flight of a satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) has to go on record as being one of the louder missions our team of trained professionals has heard – and the video our team of professionals has captured is no less stunning.
The ninth flight of a United Launch Alliance Delta Heavy got underway at the very opening of the launch window on Saturday, June 11, at 1:51 p.m. EDT (17:51 GMT), sending its classified mission into the deep black of space.
