Control of Morelos-3 handed over to Mexican government
Jason RhianDecember 17th, 2015The Mexican government has taken control of the Morelos-3 spacecraft launched on Oct. 2, 2015, atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V 421 rocket. Part of the Mexsat system, the spacecraft was launched to replace Mexsat 1, which was lost some 490 seconds after lifting off atop on an International Launch Services Proton-M rocket on May 16, 2015.

Strong at 100 – ULA launches Morelos-3 on firm’s 100th mission

Just another Atlas V booster lifting off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Space Launch Complex 41 (SLC-41) in Florida. The 421 version of the launch vehicle that took to the skies at 6:28 a.m. EDT (10:28 GMT) – marked the 100th time a ULA rocket has launched.

ULA prepares for 100th launch with Morelos-3 mission
Jason RhianOctober 1st, 2015ULA is preparing one of the Colorado-based company's Atlas V 421 launch vehicles for use as the mode of delivery for Mexico’s Morelos-3 communications satellite. The 421 booster was provided by Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services and is currently on track to be launched on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015.
