An Arianespace Ariane 5 ECA rocket, with a mission designation of VA247, is scheduled to launch the GSAT 31 and HellasSat 4/SaudiGeoSat 1 communications satellites to orbit. If it launches on schedule, this will be the first flight under Arianespace's 2019 launch manifest.

An Arianespace Soyuz rocket will carry the first 6 satellites into orbit for OneWeb, which is developing constellation of hundreds of satellites in low Earth orbit for low-latency broadband communications.

Arianespace is slated to launch four satellites atop a Soyuz 2.1b into medium-Earth orbit for O3b Networks. It is the fifth set of satellites launched for the company, which is building a broadband constellation for areas that don’t have easy access to the internet.

Arianespace has been contracted to launch the DirectTV and Eutelsat 7C communications satellites to orbit atop an Ariane 5 rocket. The planned double-satellite launch is designated VA248 and should see the two spacecraft placed into a geostationary transfer orbit (GTO).
