The Aero Spacelines Super Guppy is a large, wide-bodied cargo aircraft that is used for hauling large cargo. The first of these flew in April of 1965. Five of these aircraft were built in two different versions. NASA has used them to ferry a wide array of payloads to and from various centers. Despite being in service for more than 50 years, the venerable "Super Guppy" is still being used by the space agency with the aircraft delivering components of NASA's new crew-rated spacecraft, Orion to Kennedy Space Center as recently as 2016.
