SpaceX’s sixth operational flight to the International Space Station began on April 14, 2015 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 located in Florida. Roaring to orbit courtesy of one of the Hawthorne, California-based firm’s Falcon 9 rockets. The Dragon cargo freighter delivered approximately 4,387 lbs (1,990 kilograms) worth of supplies and experiments to the orbiting laboratory.
