WALLOPS FLIGHT FACILITY, Va. -- Northrop Grumman launched the NG-11 (S.S. Roger Chaffee) Cygnus cargo carrier from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport on April 17, 2019 at 4:46 p.m. EDT (20:46 GMT). An Antares 230 rocket lifted the spacecraft and its roughly 7,600 lbs (3,447 kg) of cargo on the first leg of its journey to the International Space Station.
