ICON (Pegasus XL)

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- NASA's Ionospheric Connection Explorer (ICON) utilizes a Northrop Grumman Pegasus XL launch vehicle to send it to space after it is released from a Lockheed Martin L-1011 aircraft (Stargazer).
