CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket with the AMOS-17 satellite on Tuesday August 6, 2019 at 7:23 p.m. EDT (23:23 UTC). The mission had been delayed several times due to weather, a "suspect valve" and even required a second test firing of the rocket's first stage.
