Spacefest is an annual reunion of NASA Apollo astronauts, famous space scientists, authors, astronomers, space artists, and fans. It is produced by Novaspace, a Tucson space art gallery and memorabilia dealer with a six-person crew. Spacefest 8 was held at the Star Pass Resort from June 8-11, 2017. This year's attendees included Apollo astronauts Fred Haise, Michael Collins, Al Worden, Jim McDivitt and Charlie Duke, shuttle astronauts Eileen Collins, Nicole Stott, Joe Engle, Vance Brand, Bruce McCandless, Jack Lousma and Robert "Hoot" Gibson, as well as noted authors Andrew Chaikin, Rick Houston, Jonathan Ward and Jay Gallentine.
